Chateau Renaissance Wine Cellars is located at the Southern tip of Keuka Lake near the Village of Hammondsport, NY. The winemaker, Patrice DeMay, migrated to the U.S.A. with his family from France in the 1970's. In Vouvray, France, his family ran the DeMay-Gremy Wine Cellars where many of Chateau Renaissance wine making techniques and traditions came from. His family then started DeMay Wine Cellars in Hammondsport.

Chateau Renaissance Wine Cellars specializes in bottle fermented New York State champagne, made one bottle at a time, using a 400 yr old recipe from the former DeMay winery in the Loire Valley of France. This traditional style of wine sparkle is known as "Method Champenoise." Known to make the finest wine sparkles in the world!
