OUR WINES

Chateau Renaissance Wine Cellars is owned and operated by Patrice DeMay and builds on more than 400 years of combined family winemaking history. The craft, care, and cellar habits have been handed down for generations. Our reds, whites, and fruit wines made with real fruit are each bottled with a clear style. We work with grapes from New York State and keep the focus on careful cellar work. New York State sparkling wine remains a house specialty, with bottles that have earned strong marks in major competitions. For a longer read on planning a Keuka Lake tasting day, open our New York sparkling wine on Keuka Lake guide.

PHILOSOPHY

We aim to make New York wine and sparkling wine stand beside the best anywhere. "Wine does not have to come from Europe to be good!" That line comes from Patrice's father, Serge J. DeMay, shortly after the family moved from France to the United States in the 1970s. Patrice grew up in the trade, then opened Chateau Renaissance Wine Cellars in the early 1990s with his own stamp on the tradition. In 2001 our New York State Brut Champagne earned a Gold Medal at the Grand Harvest Awards wine competition in California, with a score of 91 points in a field that included sparkling wines from many regions.

AWARDS
